Flash designers may be credited with the visual concepts that we see, but developers ensure the result works properly, which may not be seen but is always appreciated. She also points out that she’s seen a very high demand for Flash professionals to work on projects that range from splash pages and banner ads to video games and mobile applications.
Flash design and development is an excellent industry to get into right now according to Andrea. As the methods and platforms we use to access the Internet continue to evolve, so too has the need to support those experiences with creative, interactive content, and that is where Flash comes in. Even if you read everything about the Apple and Adobe relationship, Flash designers and Flash developers should not worry about an impending obsolescence of their talents. As Andrea points out, Apple comprises a relatively small portion of the Internet accessible products out there, so as long as there’s a need for animation and interactive designs online, Flash will remain relevant.
