Position: SEO Specialist
Location: New York, NY
This is an unbelievable opportunity to work with a small company with big brand recognition. This position will give the right person the ability to be as creative as they want to be, with the freedom to plan and implement SEO ideas and policies. Our client is looking to give someone a “blank check” in order to produce big results. The person chosen will be responsible for building the SEO department from the ground up, including personnel additions. This position will be on-site full time, but overtime working remotely on a part time will become an option.
Description:
The focus of this position is enhancing the look and feel of the client’s website, while optimizing their content and structure for better search engine rankings. In order to be considered, our client is looking for someone who can handle the technical aspects of the position, as well as understand and run the online sales and marketing. They are looking for someone who can handle both the design as well as the deployment of a search strategy to boost traffic and conversion rates. The person hired will have the opportunity to build an SEO department to work in a highly competitive e-commerce environment.
Qualifications:
years of experience in SEO with a focus in e-commerce and technology application. Qualified candidates need to have a good working knowledge of html, flash, photoshop, and javascript, as well as deep understanding of website analytics and various other marketing tools. Database management experience is a plus.
