Onward Search is excited to be joining Boston’s brightest techies, startups and entrepreneurs for the second year in a row at TechJam, Boston’s biggest tech block party happening Thursday, June 11. TechJam started a few years back in the Innovation District with the focus of celebrating the young entrepreneurial spirit of the Greater Boston tech scene. Since then, TechJam has evolved into a City Hall Plaza level affair, making it the Boston Calling of meetups for developers, marketing and biz dev pros, founders, tech execs, venture capitalists and others who love to see innovation in action. The event brings this community together in a festive fashion that makes most of its new setting.
We spoke with Mass TLC (The Mass Technology Leadership Council ) President Tom Hopcroft who shared there’s a lot more to this Tech celebration than networking and “geeking out”: Local musicians, artists and food trucks will be providing entertainment for all. The TechJam band lineup includes five bands and performers-all members who work in the local tech scene. And what festival wouldn’t be complete without food trucks and good beer to wash it down? “What I look forward to the most is just experiencing it,” says Hopcroft. “Talking to different companies and seeing what they’re all about.”
TechJam is a great opportunity to experience all that the Boston tech scene has to offer. It’s also a way to support the community—
100% of the profits from admissions go towards supporting computing education in Massachusetts through the MassTLC Foundation.
TechJam goes down this Thursday, June 11th from 4-9M on City Hall Plaza. Come see Onward Search at Booth #75 for free drinks and fun!
