I hate to say it folks, but the end of our hot humid crazy weather filled beautiful summer of 2010 is just over the horizon. Now, before you go insane with rage over the impeding fall and winter, remember that the end of summer marks the beginning of an equally cool time: Events Season!!!
That’s right! If you work in Internet marketing, interactive design, search marketing or mobile development, it’s time to dust off your favorite lanyard and clear some room on your desk for all the branded tchotchkes you’re going to amass during the next few months. I’d love to tell you all about every event going on this fall, but frankly, really long blog posts are not always fun to read. With that in mind, let’s talk about Search Engine Strategies – San Francisco, kicking off next week!
At Onward Search, we’re all about events that broaden your skills and knowledge and that’s exactly what you’ll get here. SES will introduce you to the trends and ideas that are shaping the future of search marketing and social media, plus give you a chance to network with like-minded professionals. You’ll also learn more about advancing your own search strategies through panels led by the industry’s leading experts.
Did I mention that a few OS celebrities are going to be there? Chris Taylor and Jamie Young from our Executive Search team, and Jackie Harmon from our Los Angeles office will be at booth #716 so stop by, say hello and start talking all things search! (They love this stuff and want to meet you!)
The buzz surrounding this expo points to a couple of sessions that shouldn’t be missed, including the Video Lab Primer, with Jonathan Allen, Director at SearchEngineWatch, and Developing Great Content, which is moderated by the President and co-founder of SEO-PR, Greg Jarboe.
If that isn’t enough to get you excited, how about a session on bringing your Twitter strategy to fruition (and profit) through automation? Twitternation & Automation is moderated by Matt McGowan, Publisher and Head of U.S., Incisive Media and it is sure to deliver valuable insight on using Twitter for successful marketing.
Search Engine Strategies is one of the premier search and social industry event where the most cutting edge ideas are debuted and awesome business connections are made. I’m looking forward to keeping up with all the developments and will share news and highlights next week. Don’t forget to use the #SES tag on Twitter so we can follow what you’re doing at the event.
Bring on the conference season!
